The pageant returns to the Sambil convention center and will be broadcast on Color Vision Channel 9.
The national beauty pageant, Miss Dominican Republic, returns to the Sambil convention center on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 9:00 p.m., broadcast nationally on Color Visión, Channel 9, and via streaming internationally.
During a meeting with the press, with the impeccable mastery of ceremonies of Andreína Martínez, second runner-up of Miss Universe 2022, and with the presence of Magali Febles, general director of the franchise in the country, the 20 candidates who have registered to participate in the pageant were presented.
For 2023, 30 candidates representing the provinces and Dominican communities abroad are expected to participate.
Also present at the event were Rosario Bonarelli and Yino Martínez of the Patronato de la Salud Mental Padre Billini and Ángel Martínez Santana representing children with autism. In addition to sponsors, collaborators and different media.
The organization of the beauty pageant directed by the renowned queen-maker Magali Febles, highlighted that the event is a platform for integral beauty, with the purpose of empowering Dominican women.
“Dominican Republic, has become a factory of queens. We are filled with pride when hundreds of millions of viewers around the world recognize the beauty of Dominican women,” said Magali Febles.
During the ceremony, Rosario Bonarelli and Yino Martinez, thanked the support of the organization of the contest, for their collaboration and integration of the Patronato de la Salud Mental Padre Billini in this 2023 edition.
For his part, Angel Martinez Santana, thanked the organizers for allowing the contest to be a platform for dissemination, a call on behalf of children with autism, so that the educational sector is strengthened, creating special funds for this cause.
