Puerto Plata celebrates a tourist milestone by receiving five impressive cruise ships this December 19, setting the record for the largest number of visitors in a single day, with a total of 27,313 visitors.
This achievement consolidates the “Bride of the Atlantic” as one of the most outstanding tourist destinations at international level, thanks to the arrival through its tourist ports, Taíno Bay and Amber Cove.
The five ships that have docked on the shores of the Atlantic Sea are:
Carnival Celebration: With 6,275 passengers and 1,763 crew members.
Carnival Vista: With 4,738 passengers and 1,417 crew members.
Grandeur of the Seas: With 2,300 passengers and 771 crew members.
Norwegian Encore: With 4,903 passengers and 1,631 crew members.
Scarlet Lady: With 2,347 passengers and 1,168 crew members.
