Tickets for the XI International Theater Festival 2023

Tickets to attend the plays to be presented at the XI International Theater Festival (FITE DR 2023) will be available starting at noon this Friday, October 13, at the box offices of the theaters where the performances will take place.

The FITE organizing committee also informed that the entrance fee is DR 200.00 and that tickets can be purchased by credit card or in cash at the Gran Teatro del Cibao and at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito. In all other cases, tickets can only be purchased in cash.

For ten days, from 20 to 30 October, theater lovers will be able to enjoy 60 performances in five theaters located in Santiago, FITE headquarters, as well as in one in Bonao and four in Santo Domingo.

In Santiago, the venues that will host the theatrical performances are the Restauración and Julio Alberto Hernández theaters, as well as the Moisés Zouain bar, all of them in the Gran Teatro del Cibao, where tickets will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Works will also be offered at the Héctor Incháustegui Hall, at the Ercilia Pepín Cultural Center, which will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Meanwhile, in the municipality of Bonao, Monseñor Nouel province, there will be performances at the auditorium of the School of Fine Arts, with ticket offices open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Ravelo Hall at the Eduardo Brito National Theater and the Manuel Rueda Hall at the Conservatory Plaza will serve as the stage for various FITE DR 2023 productions in Santo Domingo, where the public will be able to purchase tickets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Likewise, at Casa de Teatro tickets will be available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and at Teatro Guloya, tickets will be available Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The XI International Theater Festival 2023 will be held in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, the first time it is held outside the capital.

This edition has Colombia as guest of honor and the Colombian group Matacandelas as special guest. At the international level, it is dedicated to theater director Mario Ernesto Sánchez, of the Avante Theater in Miami, while the national dedication goes to renowned Dominican actress Karina Noble.
