The Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario (ITSC) and the Piñero Group will hold a job fair for graduates of the tourism and gastronomy area of the academy.
The activity will be held next Friday, January 12 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the facilities of the Institute, located in San Luis, Santo Domingo East.
This job fair is the result of an agreement signed last year between the community college and the Piñero Group, a leading company in the tourism sector, with presence in more than 30 destinations in Spain, Latin America and the Caribbean.
The company has more than 30,000 employees and generates a significant economic impact in the communities where it operates.
The fair will be attended by representatives of Grupo Piñero, who will offer employment opportunities for graduates of the following careers: Gastronomy, Tourism Information Systems, Tourism Accommodation Management, Food and Beverage, Tourism Intermediation Companies, as well as Bakery and Confectionery.
“This is a unique opportunity for our graduates of the Tourism Area to obtain a job in one of the world’s leading hotel companies. We encourage the graduates of these careers to bring their resumes and apply,” said Pedro A. Quezada, ITSC Rector.
Emmanuel Diaz, in charge of Professional Development and Employability for graduates, indicated that those interested in participating in the fair should bring their updated resume, as well as a copy of their identity card and a copy of their degree.
