Asonahores postpones its 2023 tourism investment forum due to heavy rains

The Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores) informed that the Tourism Investment Forum 2023, to be held this Monday, November 20, has been postponed, given the weather situation in the city of Santo Domingo and the country.

Through a communiqué to which this digital has had access, the tourism guild indicated that “our association is focused on giving all the necessary support and assistance to tourists and guests, as well as to all hotels, restaurants and tourist establishments, given the eventuality that has arisen due to the constant rains”.

“The new date of the forum will be announced in due course and we suggest to the entire population to remain attentive to the recommendations of the country’s emergency agencies,” they indicated.

“From Asonahores we sympathize with all the people affected by this situation and we will work together with the State to provide all the assistance required to the affected communities,” concludes the statement.
