Beaches & resorts temporarily closed due to hurricane Fiona

As a precaution due to the passage of Hurricane Fiona through the Dominican Republic, the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, reported the temporary closure of beaches and resorts, a measure that was extended to hotels and excursions throughout the national territory.

“On September 17 from Turismo RD, resolution DI-015/2022 was issued, which indicates the closure of all beaches and resorts, temporarily, due to the passage of storm Fiona. This resolution will be evaluated according to the development of the storm in our country,” he tweeted.

“This resolution is extended to hotels and excursions throughout the territory,” said Collado.
