A 25 year old beauty from La Vega
The 25 year old beauty from central La Vega province Carlina Duran became the new Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2012, in the pageant held in the Hotel Jaragua Tuesday night.
The 5 feet, 11 inch tall professional model was crowned by the previous queen, Dahlia Fernandez, who thanked her family for their support and said she was proud to have been to represent her country during the last year.
The new Miss Dominican Republic was all smiles when the jury’s decision was announced to end the pageant, whose special guest was Miss Universe 2011 participated, Leila Lopes.
