The School of Journalism Professor Adriano de La Cruz (EPPAC), recognized Miguel Otáñez, who is also president of the Center for Analysis and Study of Communication in the Dominican Republic (CAESCO), for more than a decade of teaching at the school.
EPPAC presented the recognition to Professor Otáñez in the framework of its tenth regular graduation, in which they highlighted his capacity and dedication in the classroom, to train new communication professionals in the country.
Otáñez, who has taught the subjects of digital journalism, writing, reporting, opinion journalism, public opinion and public relations, said that “the best contribution that can be made to the construction of a model society is to train more and better professionals”.
Likewise, the also founder of CAESCO assured that “the profitability of being a teacher cannot be seen in the economic retribution, but in the quality of the professionals and the people who leave the classrooms to contribute to their country and the world from their respective areas.”
