Frank Rainieri: New goal will be 15 million visitors by 2030

Around noon on Tuesday the 26th, the plane landed at the Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), where the tourist who would reach the goal of 10 million visitors in the DR boarded.

The historic event was attended by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and the founder of Grupo Puntacana, Frank Rainieri, who received the flight with the Dominican flag, flowers and a recognition.

“The challenge is that we have to work for 15 million tourists by 2030,” said Ranieri. He also said he was proud of the work of the minister and the union of the public and private sectors.

Collado emphasized that with this flight the country has 10,031,000 visitors in 2023 and assumes the challenge posed by the founder of Grupo Puntacana.

With the landing of the American Airlines flight, the country will have 10,031,000 visitors by 2023.
