President Luis Abinader traveled to New York on Monday to participate in the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations.
The president, accompanied by the first lady, Raquel Arbaje, left at 7:30 in the morning by private flight from Santo Domingo to New Jersey, to later travel to New York City, where he will participate in the Global Leaders Forum at Columbia University, and later will hold various meetings.
In the afternoon, he will also head the fourth edition of LA Semanal.
He will also be accompanied by his assistants, Eilyn Beltrán and Mercedes Pichardo, and the head of the Presidential Security Corps (CUSEP), Jimmy Arias.
