SkyHigh Dominicana opens new office in Georgetown

SkyHigh Dominicana announced the opening of its new office in Georgetown, capital of English Guyana, an expansion that represents an important milestone for the airline and reinforces its commitment to provide exceptional service to its passengers throughout the region.

The office is located at 58 David Street, Kitty, Georgetown and began operations as of last Saturday, March 16, 2024 with business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

“This opening represents a momentous event in our dedication to providing exceptional service and convenience to our passengers. For the first time, we are pleased to offer commercial flights between Guyana and the RD.” said Lili Foo, representative of SkyHigh Dominicana S.A. in English Guyana.

Sky High 01“Our team will be available to offer flight sales and booking services, itinerary changes, baggage assistance and any other inquiries and/or facilities related to our services,” she added.

The inauguration was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Oneidge Walrond; Ernesto Torres Pereyra, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana; the Cuban Ambassador to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Jorge Soberón and Edmundo Gil, Dominican businessman.

Torres Pereyra expressed that “I would like to congratulate SkyHigh not only for the inauguration of its commercial office in Georgetown, but also for its impeccable track record of punctuality, efficiency, good service, transparency and social responsibility. And that is why I am so proud to be here today”.

It is recalled that on February 18, SkyHigh Dominicana started direct flights between the city of Santo Domingo and Georgetown with 3 weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays; with a flight duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes, departing from the Las Americas International Airport (AILA) at 10:50 a.m. and arriving in Georgetown at 10:50 a.m., with a flight time of 2 hours and 30 minutes: 50 in the morning and arriving at 01:20 in the afternoon at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, returning at 2:20 in the afternoon, arriving at 4:50 in the afternoon, a schedule that allows passengers to reach their destination early in the day and connect with other destinations served by the airline such as Havana and Miami.
