Following Argentina’s surprising growth this year 2023 in tourist arrivals to the Dominican Republic, with 37% more than in 2022, the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, led a road show to strengthen visitor ties with the Caribbean country.
The official met with and showcased the DR’s tourism offerings to more than 350 travel agents and tour operators.
Collado emphasized that the meetings he is holding a few days before the end of the year is with an eye on the goal set to conclude 2023 with the visit of 10 million tourists.
“The year is not yet over,” he said.
“With our sights set on 10 million tourists! Determined to continue strengthening our tourism promotion we arrived in Argentina to present our offer to more than 350 travel agents and tour operators,” he posted on the social network X.
