Dominican Edwin De la Cruz announced his aspirations to run for city councilman for the Republican Party in the November elections.
De la Cruz, a native of Montecristi, a northwestern province of the Dominican Republic, will seek to represent the community of Manhattan’s 10th District.
He has already received the support of important community leaders in the Big Apple. In a press release, the politician says he is also supported by leaders of the Democratic Party, who say “we are tired of the traditionalists”.
