Francisco Ulloa celebrates 50th anniversary in typical Dominican music

Francisco Ullosa, legendary artist of typical Dominican music, will tour several cities in the United States in November, as part of the celebration of his 50 years of artistic career.

The accordion master is excited about this international tour, where he will bring much of his extensive repertoire and will have the opportunity to meet with the diaspora that has been longing to see him for several years.

“I feel excited and proud to be able to celebrate with my fans these five decades of pure merengue and to represent the Dominican Republic with dignity throughout Europe and other countries,” said Francisco.

The leading booking company of the main Dominican artists, presided by Yohanny Ulloa, U Productions Corp, will be responsible for the tour through several states of the Anglo-Saxon country.

“There is no doubt that it will be a historic tour with the legend of the Dominican native rhythm, Francisco Ulloa, 50 years to the rhythm of the accordion, which will be extended to more than 15 cities in the United States,” Ulloa revealed.

The company is based in the United States with more than thirty years of experience, and has been responsible for many successful tours of artists, including El Alfa, Chimbala, El Mayor, Amenazzy, David Kada, La Insuperable, Lira Shaq, El Messiah, Toxic Crow, Jhonny Ventura, Secreto, Alex Matos, El Ciego de Nagua, Shadow Blow, Mozart La Para, and many more.

The interpreter of “La Cosquillita” with Juan Luis Guerra was the first Dominican to take the vernacular genre to countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico and other nations. He has a discography of more than 85 productions and more than 900 songs of his authorship, many of them recognized typical merengues.
