The International Song Festival of Punta del Este (Uruguay) is an event designed to promote new creations in the field of music and to showcase new performers and composers.
“Mundo de Locos” is the title of the winning song by experienced composer José Peguero and performed by singer Diomary La Mala, which was selected among more than 250 unpublished songs at the Festival de la Canción Punta de Este, DR version.
Diomary will represent the Dominican Republic in November at the festival to be held in Uruguay.
In front of a select jury, beautiful compositions paraded with incredible interpretations where the song “Mundo de Locos” by José Peguero interpreted by Diomary La Mala came out on top.

It is held in November of each year in the seaside resort of Punta del Este and has the participation of performers from all over the world.
