The XXXV Asonahores Commercial Exposition, to be held from September 6 to 8 at the Blue Mall Punta Cana, will be the largest business activity carried out by the business association in 60 years.
This was the opinion of Asonahores president, David Llibre, and its executive vice-president, Andrés Marranzini.
They informed that the fair will have more than 4,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 160 companies will participate.
Llibre said that 80 percent of what hotels consume is locally produced, including agricultural products.
Among the participants are amenity, lingerie and agricultural products companies, he said.
“We are expecting to exceed 20,000 participants between delegates, suppliers and visitors; last year we reached some 14,000,” said Marranzini.
He stressed that during the exhibition several inter-institutional agreements will be signed and seminars and training will be held in different areas.
He informed that during the exposition there will be more than 25 press conferences for the presentation of new products of the tourism sector.
Some missions from other countries will be visiting the Asonahores exposition.
