Between RD$3 and RD$6 pesos in some fuels

In order to maintain the price of the most commonly used fuels, the Government allocated a subsidy of RD$218.6 million.

Avtur, kerosene, fuel oil #6 and fuel oil 1%S are the four fuels that will decrease in price for the week of June 8 to 14, unlike those in greater demand which will maintain their cost, informed the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MiPymes.

Avtur drops RD$6.33 per gallon, kerosene RD$7.00, fuel oil #6 decreases RD$3.82 and fuel oil 1%S RD$3.79.

In order to maintain the price of the most used fuels, the Government allocated a subsidy of RD$218.6 million.

“A subsidy of almost RD$16 pesos per gallon will be applied to Regular Gasoil, Optimum Gasoil: a subsidy of almost RD$9 pesos per gallon will be applied, Regular Gasoline: a subsidy of almost RD$8 pesos per gallon will be applied, Premium Gasoline: a subsidy of almost RD$4 pesos per gallon will be applied, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas): a subsidy of almost RD$8 pesos per gallon will be applied”, stated the Vice Minister of Internal Commerce Ramon Perez Fermin.

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MiPymes has ordered that fuels will be sold at the following prices:

  • Premium Gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Regular Gasoline RD$272.50 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Regular Gasoil RD$221.60 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Gasoil Óptimo RD$239.10 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Avtur RD$192.22 per gallon down RD$6.33.
  • Kerosene RD$221.70 per gallon down RD$7.00.
  • Fuel Oil #6 RD$160.37 per gallon down RD$3.82.
  • Fuel Oíl 1%S RD$174.95 per gallon down RD$3.79.
  • Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$132.60 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Natural Gas RD$43.97 maintains its price.
