On Wednesday, the Arrhythmias RD Group launched the use of one of the most modern equipment to treat arrhythmias worldwide, the ENSITE PRECISION. The journey continues this Thursday and Friday.
The PRECISION is a cardiac navigator that helps to locate the cardiac circuit of arrhythmias, with more accuracy and helps to solve more complex patients.
During the conference, HGRID and Contact Force catheters, which provide greater effectiveness in radiofrequency ablation procedures, are being used for the first time in the country.
The workshop is being held at the Santo Domingo Cardiovascular Center.
At the beginning, this day will benefit seven patients with different types of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, atrial tachycardia and atrial flutter. Many patients with these arrhythmias had to travel out of the country to undergo these procedures.
The RD Arrhythmia Team is headed by Dr. Manuel Petete Ayala, who is accompanied by Dr. Mikel Liñero and Dr. Dulce Garcia, the most experienced specialists in Arrhythmology in the Dominican Republic.
