Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda to reopen on December 1 after renovations

The Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda in Punta Cana, which belongs to the Piñero Group, will reopen its doors on December 1 after a US$35 million renovation.

The newly reinvented property is inspired by the indigenous people of the Caribbean under the “Taino Soul” concept throughout the renovated property, including one of its two new restaurants, Taino, which offers local cuisine, and the Yurta restaurant, which serves Mongolian dishes.

In addition, the resort will debut new room categories and the inclusion of Premium Deluxe suites with pool included, according to Travel Weekly.

Guests at Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda have exchange privileges with neighboring properties, which include Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar, Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine, Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana, Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro and Bahia Principe Grand Turquesa and Bahia Principe Fantasia Punta Cana, all connected by a shuttle service.

The resort is ideal for families, with two swimming pools, seven restaurants, three bars, a spa and a water park for children.
