The Fundación Clúster Turístico Agencias Operadoras (CTAO) continues to adhere to its mission of strengthening travel agencies and promoting each province as a tourist destination with an impact on economic and social development.
In this sense, they organized a visit to Sabana de la Mar de Hato Mayor with the objective of informing their clients about the benefits of the area and at the same time to promote ecological and community tourism through the promotion of the tourist agents of the province, whose main attractions are Los Haitises National Park, Paraíso de Caño Hondo, La Jalda, among others.
The president of the CTAO Foundation, Omar Rivera, urged, each travel agency and tour operators to provoke interest in national and international clients, that encouraging the consumption of local destinations adds value to Dominican tourism to project it and make it grow.
“Those interested in discovering the tourist attractions of the different provinces of the DR and mainly Hato Mayor should experience through guided tours the diversity of the religious, cultural, adventure tourism offer or simply get to know every corner of the country,” he added.
Meanwhile, Yoleisy Valerio Garcia, owner of Yvg Tours, indicated that “tourism is the powerful magnet that generates the development so desired by the different sectors of Sabana de la Mar and all of Hato Mayor”.
It is recalled that the province of Hato Mayor will have from March 14 to 24 the Ecotourism and Production Fair in its 28th edition sponsored by the Science and Art Foundation, and will have India as guest country.
