Abinader inaugurates Sports Center Club Savica

President Luis Abinader inaugurated the Polideportivo Club Savica, which will allow the youth of Higüey to develop and practice different sports disciplines. The work, which was built by the Presidential Commission for the Support of Provincial Development, had an investment of around DR 60 million.

Ángel de la Cruz, director of the Presidential Commission for Provincial Development, expressed that with this type of construction, the ruler improves the quality of life of the Dominicans, investing in works that transform.

He considered that the head of state listens and commits himself to the commitments he makes.

Governor Martina Pepén said that this construction will promote physical activity and provide opportunities for development.

Present

The President was accompanied by José Ignacio Paliza, Administrative Minister of the Presidency; Ángel de la Cruz, director of the Presidential Commission for Provincial Development; Martina Pepén, Governor; Carlos Bonilla, Minister of Housing; and Virgilio Sedano, senator.

Also present were Rafael Barón (Cholitín), mayor; Francisco Villegas and Francisco Solimán, deputies; Rafael Uribe, president of the Basketball Association; Karina Aristy, president of the Liberal Reformist Party (PLR), as well as club directors and local authorities.
