David Llibre, president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the DR (Asonahores), clarified that the electoral process, which is approaching in 2024, will not affect the growth of the tourism sector.
He explained that this is due to the fact that the tourism industry is very mature and stable, and contrary to other times, there is no possibility of generating any kind of concern on the part of the actors involved in the sector.
“Times have changed and the roles are very well defined. We have a country that is quite aware of the importance of tourism,” he added.
He reiterated that the DR has gone through different electoral processes, without affecting tourism “and let’s hope that this is the way it is and remains so”, according to Recorriendo con Salvador.
