The Dominican Republic was nominated in several categories in the “10 Best Readers Choice Awards 2024”, a division of the USA Today newspaper.
Dominican companies or places were nominated in five different categories: In the “Best Caribbean Rum” category, Ron Brugal from Puerto Plata and Ron Barceló from San Pedro de Macorís were nominated. The Barceló Bávaro Palace Hotel and the Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort, both in Punta Cana, were nominated for “Best All-Inclusive Caribbean Resort”.
The Corales golf courses at Puntacana Resort, Punta Espada in Punta Cana and Diente de Perro in La Romana were nominated in the “Best Caribbean Golf Course” category.
In the category “Best Beach in the Caribbean”, Juanillo Beach in Punta Cana was nominated. In the category “Best Resort in the
Caribbean”, the Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana and Eden Roc Cap Cana in Punta Cana were nominated.
The nominees were selected by a team of Caribbean travel experts, who live in the city they write about, with
constantly updated content. 10Best.com, provides users with travel content on the top attractions, things to see and do, and restaurants for the best destinations in the United States and around the world.
Voting will end on January 1 at noon, and winners will be announced on January 12, 2024.
