The Grand Bávaro Princess Hotel, located in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) has received the Intertek Cristal certificates that ratify the work carried out by the hotel resort in preventing the spread of infections and reward the hygiene standards implemented.
Specifically, the tourist establishment has been recognized by the following seals:
POSI-Check: certifies the effectiveness in preventing the spread of infections and hygiene standards at all times.
RoomCheck: guarantees the cleanliness of all rooms.
PoolCheck: certifies pool safety and that water, water treatment products and safety systems are effectively managed and maintained.
FoodCheck: The world’s leading food safety certification in the hospitality industry ensures that all food handling processes are properly managed.
AquaCheck: This certification ensures that drinking water standards are up to standard.
FireCheck: Ensures that all our fire systems are working properly and are prepared.
SafetyCheck: certifies that safety management is of high quality and that the protocols established for accident prevention are solid.
The hotel company says it is “very proud of this recognition” and stresses that it is especially important to be able to offer high levels of safety, quality and wellbeing for the client in the current context.
Manuel Serrano, commercial director of Princess Hotels & Resorts in the Caribbean, explains to Tourinews that for the chain, health safety and protection of its clients has always been one of its priorities, but since the pandemic broke out “it has been an obsession”. “Our controls and constant monitoring are reinforced by these recognitions from Intertek Cristal,” he says.
The executive considers that today, in order to achieve customer satisfaction, it is key to bet on sanitary safety. “I think we are focusing on it well,” he concludes.
