Arajet announced during the Anato 2024 tourism fair that it will increase frequencies from Santo Domingo to Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena to boost connectivity between these cities.
The company’s communications director, Manuel Luna, indicated that the airline during 2023 has directly impacted the growth of visitor arrivals from Colombia.
“Arajet is committed to supporting initiatives that promote the growth of the tourism sector, for this reason, today we announce that we are increasing flights to these cities to continue betting on connectivity as an important factor for the development of the tourism industry,” he said.
He explained that in March we will be flying to Medellin on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, providing 1,838 seats, and in April we will be offering daily flights with 2,590 seats, which represents a 29% increase in operations to this city.
