Temptation Miches Resort and Temptation Grand Miches Resort
President Luis Abinader inaugurated this Tuesday the work to which he gave the first blow at the beginning of his administration, in Miches, El Seibo province. With only 19 days in office, the president went to Miches on September 4, 2020 to accompany the Mexican business group Original Group at the ceremony to begin the construction of two hotels.
These are the Temptation Miches Resort and the Temptation Grand Miches Resort, two hotels with which the president hopes to boost the economy of the municipality and, together with other projects, turn Miches into a tourist center.
Ángel García, a Dominican partner of the hotel, informed that there are currently 725 hotel employees who are already registered with the Social Security Treasury.
The Temptation Miches Resort has 382 suites and the Temptation Grand Miches Resort has 114, for a total of 496 rooms.
The work entailed an investment of US$180 million, of which Banco de Rereservas financed US$92 million to the consortium, according to the administrator of that entity, Samuel Pereyra. It has seven restaurants, eight bars, two swimming pools and a gymnasium. They operate on an all-inclusive basis.
The Temptation Grand is a hotel that offers a vacation experience for couples only. Guests are guided by the so-called “playmakers” to live stimulating activities.
It has a Jacuzzi Lounge and a pool with clothing optional use. It also has a playroom, an intimate space for couples.
On the other hand, the Temptation Miches Resort is aimed at the free traveler, families and all types of guests.
Works in Miches
President Abinader also inaugurated works built by the Government to facilitate the development of tourism in the area.
With an investment of 51,154,560.29 million pesos, the president inaugurated the access road to Costa Esmeralda Beach, a detachment and a parking lot.
The access to the Costa Esmeralda Beach consists of 170 linear meters and 250 linear meters of access road to the arrival plaza.
The area has a cobblestone floor, parking for 40 cars, 2 buses, lighting, and urban equipment.
2,500 rooms
The administrator of Banreservas informed that this bank is leading the tourism sector, financing three projects, with 2,500 rooms.
