CATA launches the First Web Catalog of Tourism Experiences of Central America and the Dominican Republic

The Central American Tourism Promotion Agency (CATA) is launching the First Web Catalog of Tourism Experiences with the participation of more than 40 companies from Central America and the Dominican Republic, in order to strengthen the sector’s management capacity in view of the current reactivation of the regional industry.

This first web catalog seeks to offer users of CATA’s target markets in Europe, as well as in other international markets, a unique portfolio of suppliers that is hosted on a single site, this website allows viewing the main tourism companies that are legally registered in the countries of the region and that offer unique experiences in each of the destinations.

The site also has useful information that every traveler needs to know, such as information on immigration requirements and sanitary protocols; visas and emergencies; currencies and exchange rates; as well as information of interest on each of the tourist destinations.

The participating companies stand out for offering a wide range of activities related to areas such as wellness, hot springs, hiking, canopy, rafting, surfing, camping, glamping, parasailing, waterfalls, lake tours, islets, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, bird watching, agrotourism farms, coffee or chocolate tours, wedding venues, events, among others.

Central America and the Dominican Republic have hidden places of inexhaustible beauty that can be explored by the hand of the best professionals to plan, coordinate and guide tourists. Therefore, the participating companies have the certification and endorsement of the National Tourism Administrations, as well as the National Chambers of Tourism of the eight countries that make up CATA.
