TotalEnergies and Martí sign sustainable partnership to strengthen energy transition

TotalEnergies and Martí’s Sunix and Tropigas Natural brands initiated a strategic alliance process resulting in a 50/50 economic partnership with the purpose of accompanying the country in the energy transition.

Although the agreement had been announced in early February, this alliance was formalized on August 1 and will unite the TotalEnergies, Sunix and Tropigas Natural brands in a network of more than 190 service stations, to be operated under the TotalEnergies brand.

Jorge Galiber and Carlos José MartíThis translates into an expansion in the commercial activities of distribution and marketing of natural gas, fuels, lubricants, solar and other renewable energies.

“During these months we will continue to work intensively on the integration process of the companies, with the objective of continuing to strengthen our service excellence and fulfill our ambition of being major players in the energy transition,” said Jorge Galiber, CEO of V Energy S.A. and Country Chair of TotalEnergies in the Dominican Republic.

Likewise, MARTÍ’s CEO, Carlos José Martí, affirmed that they ratify their commitment to guarantee the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations, taking a firm step towards the development of sustainable energy in the country.
