IATA Wings of Change Americas 2024 to take place on April 10

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) will hold a new version of its Wings of Change Americas (WOCA) conference on April 10 and 11 at the Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center in Santiago, Chile, the flagship event for the industry in the region.

WOCA is a forum for meeting and dialogue between the airline industry, governments, the tourism sector and other stakeholders in the air transport value chain, whose objective is to analyze, discuss and debate future lines of action to boost the fundamental role of aviation in the region, acting as a strategic partner that facilitates social IATA WINGS 01connection and is an engine for the development of countries, even in the midst of a challenging economic outlook.

Under the theme “Advancing Aviation for a Competitive and Sustainable Future,” the agenda is composed of a variety of relevant topics covering the global outlook for aviation worldwide and especially for the Americas region, the importance of collaboration between governments and the sector to boost tourism and the entire value chain of the sector, sustainability, distribution, regulation, among others.

The event will bring together leading industry executives, experts, regulators, civil aviation and government authorities, regional and local associations, manufacturers, as well as other important members and suppliers of the aviation value chain.
