The christmas looks 2008

To look perfect for the celebrations

As the celebrations get closer, all the women, even the one that are not fond of fashion, have the same question in mind: What will I wear at Christmas and New Year night ?

The dress is without any doubt the best friend of the end of year parties, and even if thousand of models are available, there are tendency to be the most gorgeous.

The Classical black dress

The black is a very sophisticated color, and on the dresses, no matter if they are long as the Mango one, or short, it’s very elegant. The “little black dress”, that will never go out of fashion, can be very simple as proposed by Donna Karan, or adorned with a shining detail as Bash. To be even more festive, choose adding golden details as Carolina Herrera.

The red dress

The red, emblematic color of Christmas, emits strength and glamour, and is great to wear in celebration days.

There is the long and simple dress as the one of Donna Karam or the Dior one, adorned with a fur for a very elegant effect.
The short cocktail dresses are very nice too, classical and light as the one of Peter Som, or structured and worked as Carolina Herrera.

The golden and silver colors

The magic that surround the Christmas celebrations and the 31st of December has to be applied to dressing too. So, for once, you can dare to wear gold and silver dresses. The silver that shines as the one presented by Peter Som plays with originality.

The golden can be used as points over black for a great result as does Oscar dela Renta, or as a total look like Martin Grant and Dolce & Gabbana.

The other colors

If you want to wear another color and be elegant and festive at the same time, it’s possible. Suzanne Ermann, Mango, John Richmond and Nina Ricci prove it to us…

The secret ? Details that remember we are at Christmas time, as a cold color, a shining neck, an elegant black node, or a bustier dress in a wonderful emerald green.

To be elegant, refined and sexy…
