The long-awaited first edition of the Latin American Fashion Awards lands in the Dominican Republic on November 4, 2023. The announcement comes from the hand of its Co-Founders, Constanza Etro and Silvia Argüello, who, after three years of extensive work, unveil the unprecedented project that celebrates Latin American talent in the fashion industry, both established and emerging, at an international level.

A biennial fashion and culture project that provides a global platform for the promotion of the best Latin American talent and the development of the Orange Economy in the region.
With the participation of more than twenty countries and two strategic venues, the Dominican Republic and Milan, the awards ceremony will honor the work of outstanding designers, brands, models, photographers, directors and more.
The Latin American Fashion Awards will be an established cultural landmark on the global fashion calendar bringing
together industry experts and trendsetters to acclaim the rich cultural heritage with a contemporary perspective.
Its mission is to honor the region’s cultural heritage, celebrate diversity and inclusion, and reinforce the future of the most outstanding Latin American talent making a difference in the fashion industry.
International Jury
To establish the authority of the Latin American Fashion Awards and amplify the global visibility of its participants, the prestigious jury will be comprised of Latin American and international experts, renowned fashion editors and celebrities.
The jury will be revealed on March 23, 2023 in Milan, the capital of Italian fashion.
Among the categories of the awards are: Designer of the Year, Brand of the Year, Emerging Designer of the Year, Responsible Project of the Year, Fashion Photographer of the Year, Model of the Year, Accessories Brand of the Year, Fashion Film of the Year, Fashion Artist of the Year, Fashion Icon of the Year, Local Star of the Dominican Republic: this category celebrates the big names in the fashion industry from the host country and Audience Award | Disruptive Latin of the Year: embracing the inclusive vision of the Latin American Fashion Awards, this category will be chosen by public vote.
Latin American Fashion Awards has been made possible thanks to the unconditional support of the founding partners from the host country: Alyon, Grupo Rizek, Ron Barceló, Casa de Campo, Punta Cana, Casas del XVI and Banco Popular Dominicano as well as the sponsorship of important Latin American business leaders and global partners.

From November 2-5, 2023, the celebrations that make up the awards event will take place between the prestigious Casa de Campo and Puntacana Resort & Club resorts in the Dominican Republic. The Awards will open at the historic private villa of celebrated Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta at Puntacana Resort & Club.
On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the Awards Ceremony will take place at the iconic Altos de Chavón Amphitheater in Casa de Campo. In addition to the announcement of the winners and their speeches, the event will feature a musical show headlined by renowned Latin American artists to be announced soon.
