Dominican products arrive at the most important fair in Miami

In order to continue positioning the Dominican Republic’s Food and Beverage industry for export, the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center (ProDominicana) organized the participation of 10 Dominican companies in the most important trade fair in Miami, “Americas Food and Beverage Show & Conference (AF&B)”.

This event is a meeting point for decision-makers in the food and beverage sector from all over the world.

In this regard, the executive director of ProDominicana, Biviana Riveiro, said that 50% of those attending the fair are decision-makers and, therefore, the AF&B fair and conference is the ideal scenario for exporters to meet customers, product suppliers, service providers, suppliers, distributors and industry experts.

Riveiro pointed out that the government is committed to the internationalization of Dominican food and beverage companies, giving importance to the diversification of markets, in a context of growth such as the current one. “ProDominicana will continue to offer a wide range of programs and instruments to accompany companies in their foreign strategy, with the purpose of continuing to increase participation in non-traditional markets,” he said.

During the fair, Dominican exporters held more than 50 B2B meetings where they offered products grown and produced in the Dominican Republic to fair attendees.

The food and beverage fair and conference of the Americas is open to members of the sector, making it a business-only event. Fair attendees are interested in finding new and innovative products to stock their shelves, add to their menus and impress their customers.

It should be noted that the Dominican companies that participated in the event managed by ProDominicana were: Sylvan Foods, Pasteurizadora Rica, Plant Powered Srl, Esco Srl, P&P Tropical Mix, Ly Company Caribe SRL, Deliciel, Fromages De France S.R.L., Industrias Banilejas, Brinsa Dominicana, Crazy About Organics.
