Mitur manages to build medical center to assist tourists in Bávaro

The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, informed that the possibility of building the first medical assistance center for tourists in Bávaro is being evaluated with the Puntacana Group.

Although he did not explain the details of the initiative, the minister assured that it would be one of the most significant bets of the sector, which would add value to the tourist offer of the country, especially for visitors who have some health condition.

According to the minister, the assistance center will be built in Bavaro, Punta Cana, where 40 jobs would be created in different areas to offer all kinds of services to the tourists, according to Diario Libre.

“We do not only see numbers of tourist arrivals. Behind those numbers of arrivals there are human faces in the Dominican Republic that are hurt by any situation that happens to them”, said Collado.
