Grupo Piñero reopens hotel in Jamaica and now has 13 operations with five in the Dominican Republic

Grupo Piñero opened the doors of Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay, an adults-only hotel located in Jamaica. Located on the beachfront of the north coast, it is the chain’s second establishment to resume business on the island in view of the increase and stability of demand in the main outbound markets, especially the American, Canadian and British ones.

The return of the Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay is another step in the company’s plan of gradual reopenings. Its goal is to “respond to the demand” of the different destinations in which it operates, “always safeguarding the health and well-being of its guests and employees above all else,” the hotel chain said.

Grupo Piñero already has two hotels operating in Jamaica: Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica and Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay. It has also resumed operations in five establishments in the Dominican Republic, three in Mexico and three in Spain, for a total of 13 hotels open.

The 525-room Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay hotel offers guests an adults-only vacation experience in a beautiful beachfront setting with access to a private beach area. The chain offers clients competitively priced on-site antigen and PCR testing at its two properties in Jamaica.
