Before the end of this year, the Uvero Alto area will have a new luxury hotel being built by two prestigious families in the tourism world: the Rainieri and Amengual families. That’s right, the luxurious W Punta Cana Uvero Alto is progressing at a good pace in the largest tourist region of the country.
In an interview with arecoa.com, the founder of the Puntacana Group, Frank Rainieri, said that “work on the new establishment is going very well” and that it will be inaugurated before the end of 2024.
The resort, which is being financed by Banco BHD for US$78.9 million, has 349 rooms with balconies and plunge pools, and is already generating great expectations due to the impulse it represents for the lodging offer in the eastern zone.
The tourist complex, in which Estel Ingeniería participates, is one of the most awaited tourist bets for the end of the year, and its opening is expected to capture all the attention of the sector, which is consolidating itself as the main economic pillar of the country.
For Rainieri, a pioneer of Punta Cana’s tourism development, the Dominican Republic must maintain a constant diversification of its tourism offerings, with the objective of having options for all tastes and budgets.
