“I am one of those who believe that the printed book will never disappear,” said the editor of the Fundaver Foundation, Verónica Sención, after highlighting the transition that the media has been experiencing from the print to the digital era.

Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in discussions on current challenges and opportunities, exploring topics such as: Artificial Intelligence vs. Human Intelligence in Content Creation, Literary Tourism as a Driver of Cultural Development, Marketing and Promotion Strategies for Modern Authors, Diversity and Inclusion in Contemporary Literature, The Role of the Media in Global Literary Promotion.
Emergence of the initiative
In recounting how the initiative for this forum came about, Alcántara noted that they started out as an advertising agency in the Dominican Republic and then moved to Florida as a marketing agency.
It is an international event designed to inspire and connect authors, entrepreneurs, publishers and literary dreamers in a paradisiacal setting. During this time, the number of authors approaching the organization internationally needed to have more exposure and connect with authors from other countries.
“Knowing the great quantity and quality of authors we have in the Dominican Republic we wanted to do this event to connect outside the name of a publishing house and do it as a real project,” expressed Alcantara.
Referring to future plans he highlighted that it is a multi-destination project, so the surprises will be given in February next year we are talking about a new continent.
