The Dominican Republic was nominated for the international World Golf Awards in the category “Best Golf Destination in the Caribbean”, to be held at the award ceremony on October 23, 2023 at Yas Links Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The international World Golf Awards announced its nominees for the 10th edition in various categories of the golf industry and opened the voting process on March 1st until September 1st of this year.
World Golf Awards is part of the global World Travel Awards that annually selects the leaders of the travel industry globally and in their niches.
Quisqueya is nominated along with the Bahamas, Bermuda, Jamaica and Puerto Rico.
Notably, the Dominican Republic won the award in this category two years in a row in 2020 and 2021.
