As part of his efforts to ensure that more tourists continue to visit the Dominican Republic, Tourism Minister David Collado presented Quisqueya’s diverse tourism proposal to more than 250 tour operators and travel agents.
As part of his presentation tour now usual, Minister Collado showed the main actors of tourism present at the ITB-Berlin fair why they should promote and encourage their customers to visit the Dominican Republic, a “country that has everything to please.
“Today we are in the German capital to show you why you should prefer us as a long-haul destination,” said Minister Collado in presenting the diversified tourist proposal of the Dominican Republic.
He invited travel agents, tour operators and airline representatives to promote the beauty of the Dominican Republic, “a true paradise in the Caribbean”.
Mr. Collado also thanked the loyalty of German tourists who, for years, choose the Dominican Republic as their favorite long-haul destination.
“For years, Germans prefer our destination in the Caribbean and I want to express my gratitude today on behalf of the Dominican people, who have always offered them their best smile,” said the Minister of Tourism.
Mr. Collado presented his roadshow here in the German capital, on the eve of the ITB-Berlin tourism fair, which begins Tuesday with the participation of more than ten thousand companies from 184 countries.
ITB Berlin is the world’s most important trade show for the tourism industry and will be held in the German capital from March 7 to 9, 2023.
