Lopesan will soon announce the details of the second phase of Costa Bávaro

During the first day of Fitur 2024, the meetings held with the main tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs and bed banks in the tourism sector, have served to publicize some of Lopesan Hotel Group’s most ambitious expansion projects in the DR and Gran Canaria.

In the case of the Caribbean country, one of the focal points of interest at the fair was the start of the construction of the second phase of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino, and the enormous expectation it has generated in recent months.

In that sense, José Alba, general manager of the Hotel Division of the Lopesan Group, indicated that “although it is still too early to reveal the details of this new bet of the Group in Punta Cana, we are convinced that the official presentation of the project will mark a before and after in the way of doing business in the Caribbean”.

For the Gran Canaria projects, the company is currently planning three projects to be developed in the exclusive area of Meloneras.

In addition, Lopesan Hotel Group faces its participation in Fitur 2024 with the aim of activating new strategies, with the main partners and professional suppliers of the national market, that will try to encourage the advance purchase of vacation packages and allow to modify, as far as possible, the usual trend of the peninsular traveler, accustomed to plan their trips with very little time margin.

“The focus will be mainly on next summer and we want to go beyond that, concentrating our efforts on promoting the upcoming winter campaign. So Fitur is the ideal event to “establish lines of business and finalize operational planning that will help emphasize the quality and exclusivity of our hotel proposal, in cities where we are not currently operating,” said Alba.

International expansion, through Lopesan Hotel Management (LHM), will be another of the essential elements of the roadmap set by the company at the Madrid fair. Thus, some of the main international players in the sector will have the opportunity to see in situ the benefits of the assets that form part of LHM’s gear, as well as the attributes of the portfolio of hotels in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, DR and Thailand.
