“We will probably break the peak of high seasons and low seasons, and we will have a full year high season,” he said, according to Reportur.
When detailing the occupation for the Easter holiday, Marranzini indicated that 271 hotels carried out operations during the week off.
He said that when looking at it by area, for example, in Puerto Plata 3,309 rooms were under operation, of which 2,299 were reserved and La Romana-Bayahíbe, of 1,157 rooms, 920 were reserved.
In the East there was the highest percentage of establishments occupied by local visitors and foreign tourists who opted for the country for their Easter holidays.
