Arajet flights from Santo Domingo to Argentina approved

The Dominican airline Arajet received the approval of the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) of Argentina to start flights between Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires and Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo.

The document states that: “the Company must submit to the consideration of the ANAC the tariffs to be applied, the legal insurances, on board books and complaints for its authorization, and the same procedure applies to any incorporation, substitution or modification of the commercial capacity of its aircrafts, as well as its insurances, tariffs, change of domicile”.

Since last March, Arajet has shown interest in flying to Argentina. So far, the direct connection between both countries is through Aerolineas Argentina, with a flight from Buenos Aires to Punta Cana.

Arajet has flights to 18 destinations in the Americas, such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, St. Martin, Brazil, among others.

Its aircraft are five Boeing 737 Max8 with a capacity of 185 passengers.
