Flair Airlines announces flights to Punta Cana next fall

Flights from Toronto to the Dominican Republic are about to get even easier to book this coming fall 2023, as low-cost carrier Flair Airlines announced new service from Pearson to Punta Cana International Airport, starting October 30, 2023.

As such, Flair Airlines CEO Stephen Jones stated that expanding its network to the Caribbean is an important part of the airline’s growth.

“The Dominican Republic continues to be one of the most popular destinations for Canadians looking to escape the cold winters to an area full of pristine beaches, vibrant culture and beautiful resorts that are only a 4.5-hour flight away,” he said.

He informed that “the airline will also offer service to Punta Cana from Ottawa and Kitchener-Waterloo later in the season.

“Travelers will also not have to worry about the lack of flights to and from the island; the airline will offer daily service from Toronto,” he said.

He explained that “frequency from Ottawa or Kitchener-Waterloo, will have twice-weekly flights.”
