This weekend: Local downpours with thundershowers and flurries

During the morning hours we will observe a sky of scattered clouds and scarce rains, however, in the afternoon, cloud concentrations will begin due to the incidence of a trough that manifests itself at different levels of the troposphere, located northeast of the country, it moves eastward, interacting with the local effects of diurnal warming and orography, in addition to a tropical wave that will be passing through our territory during the course of the afternoon, both will be generating clouds accompanied by locally moderate to heavy downpours, with thunderstorms and occasional wind gusts, mainly over the northeastern and southeastern regions, including Greater Santo Domingo, the Central Cordillera and the border area.

Tomorrow Saturday, the humidity left by the tropical wave in addition to the trough that will remain over the country, will induce clouds with local downpours, thunderstorms and wind gusts towards the northeastern, southeastern regions, Central Cordillera and the border area.
