Atahualpa Paulino, Northern Regional Director of the Ministry of Tourism, announced that Puerto Plata will receive a total of 59 cruise ships through the tourist ports of Amber Cove and Taino Bay.
“The distribution of cruise arrivals is divided between Amber Cove, which will host 24 of them, and Taino Bay, which will receive 35 cruise ships during this period,” he said.
Puerto Plata is thus consolidating its position as an increasingly captivating tourist destination in the Caribbean, attracting not only international visitors but also cruise ships that recognize the beauty and potential of this jewel of the northern region.
