Representatives of the Cap Cana Destination City and the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Colombia, held a business round and presentation of the destination dedicated to more than 200 investors and construction businessmen of the foreign country, in an event held in the Poblado in Medellin with a view to the development of various real estate and hotel tourism projects.
Jorge Subero Medina, executive president of Cap Cana explained to the attendees the dimension of the project as well as the current opportunities it has to continue growing in various areas and forms, highlighting the benefits of tax exemptions that the country has for foreign investors thanks to Law No. 158-01 on the promotion of tourism development.
He emphasized that the Dominican Republic is in the best moment for new real estate investments thanks to the growth that this segment has had within tourism as such, and that today it represents 42% of the current tourist investments, which attracts other direct contributions to the Dominican economy and allows a greater diversification of complementary offers of second and third line of beach.
“The high demand from people who today demand a different, exclusive lifestyle, in spaces where luxury, security and physical and emotional well-being converge, places us in a privileged position within the sector because this is precisely what we as a destination offer,” added Subero Medina.
“Cap Cana is luxury and exclusivity, and this is reflected through the highest quality standards in each of its areas of diversification and development such as: a world-class infrastructure, the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of the country, basic services, the majestic Punta Espada golf course, the safest in-land marina in the Caribbean and the most complete equestrian center in the region, as well as the most important ecological adventure park Scape Park, among other amenities”, he concluded.
