DR returns to FITUR as co-sponsor

Minister David Collado will lead the delegation and predicts great success.

Minister David Collado, announced that the Dominican Republic is returning this year as a co-sponsor to the FITUR tourism fair, which will be held from January 18-22 in Spain and where there will be a special presentation of Miches as a tourist destination.

“This year there is great expectation with the Dominican Republic’s attendance at FITUR 2023, where we reached the maximum number of exhibitors allowed by IFEMA in the history of our participation in that important international tourism fair,” said Minister Collado, who will head the Dominican delegation at that global event.

He affirmed that the Dominican stand will include six sponsors and 45 co-exhibitors, among which are the main companies in the industry, as well as the country’s largest commercial banks.

“As we do every year, we will bring to FITUR our diversified tourism offerings, establishing why we are the country with the best conditions for foreign investment,” said Collado.

He affirmed that FITUR will be the perfect platform to show the tourist world all the conditions and beauty that Miches offers as a destination in the Caribbean.DR Returns to FITUR as Co-sponsor

In addition to the Ministry of Tourism, the two official sponsors are Banco Popular and Banco de Reservas.

Also participating as sponsors are the BHD bank, Punta Cana, Cap Cana and ProMiches, as well as tourism companies.

At the Dominican stand there will be a large presence of cultural exhibits, artisans and folkloric ballet, as well as talks to present the beauties of the different destinations and the diversity of the Dominican tourism product.
