President Adompretur signs agreement with OMPT in Mexico

These institutions have common objectives in the areas of training and strengthening. They are also committed to continue promoting tourism and the use of natural resources with responsible and sustainable practices.

The Dominican Association of Tourism Press (Adompretur) and the World Organization of Tourism Journalists (OMPT) signed a collaboration agreement, through which both institutions commit to strengthen the training of their members specialized in tourism issues.

Yenny Polanco Lovera, president of Adompretur highlighted the importance of this signature through which both institutions commit to continue promoting tourism and the use of natural resources with responsible and sustainable practices in order to strengthen tourism and the preservation of the environment.

“We will also support state initiatives related to the promotion of tourism in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, while promoting the analysis and socialization of issues of common interest,” said Polanco Lovera.

Miguel Ledhesma, president of the World Organization of Tourism Journalists said that this agreement is very important because it will strengthen the collaborative work. “We receive with great honor this alliance with Adompretur”.

At the signing of the agreement, Yenny Polanco Lovera was accompanied by the vice president of Adompretur, Salvador Batista; and Yubelkys Mejía, director of Events; as well as other partners and communicators who participated in the “Pasaporte Abierto” award held in San Luis de Potosí, Mexico.
