Months go by and the relationship between Carmen Villalobos and Frederik Oldenburg is getting stronger and stronger. The couple has shown that distance is not an impediment when love is true because, although their professional commitments keep them in different cities, they have managed to be together. The host of Hoy Día (Telemundo) traveled several times to Colombia to visit his beautiful girlfriend, regardless of the long hours of flight to return to Miami. This time he traveled a little closer, as the meeting point was the Dominican Republic, a very special place in their love story.
“Where it all began 😻Dominican Republic,” Carmen wrote last May 5 on her Instagram account as she shared a video in which she was seen approaching Frederik’s arms in the middle of a beautiful sunset on the beach. To complement this beautiful scene, the actress added the song Bachata En Fukuoka by Juan Luis Guerra and 4.40.
“That’s right, my life, our beloved Dominican Republic. What a sunset, what a song, what a moment, here’s to many more 🥂 cheers!”, commented the host in the joint publication with the actress. The Colombian beauty recently traveled to this country to record an episode of the second season of Top Chef VIP, a reality show in which she is once again the host.
And a couple of days later, this May 7, the couple made a new publication in their social networks, showing how much fun they were having in this getaway in the Caribbean. “It’s moments like these that I want to continue living, sharing my joy and all my love, with you my life is a pleasure, may it never end!” they indicated.
“As I always say, for more moments like these, I love you! Thank you Dominican Republic, where it all began!” they added in their message.
In the video they could be seen enjoying this mini vacation as a couple to the fullest: riding a boat in the warm turquoise waters, bathing in the sea, walking on the beach holding hands and enjoying a cocktail with the best view. Carmen looked totally stunning in a black and white bikini, while her beau opted for a black swimsuit.
They want to be eternal sweethearts
A few weeks ago, the couple talked about their relationship in an interview for Al Rojo Vivo (Telemundo). Asked about the possibility of formalizing their relationship even more, Carmen and Frederik agreed that it is not a topic that worries them. “Not at all. Just these days we had a conversation and how nice to be like eternal sweethearts, because you know that you always have to be aware and expectant and taking care of your partner every day,” said the actress.
