Milton Morrison, general administrator of Edesur Dominicana, and the director of the National Police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, handed over the lighting works of the facilities and the perimeter area of the National Police Cadet School “Mayor General José Félix Hermida González”.
During the inaugural ceremony, Milton Morrison said that these works are in support of the police reform and that all the police stations located in the territory under the responsibility of Edesur Dominicana will be illuminated.
“Edesur is an ally of the National Police and is always willing to collaborate with anything that helps to improve communities and institutions,” he said.
“This administration is committed to service, efficiency and transparency. That is why today we are delivering this school for cadets fully illuminated; it was a commitment we made and we are sure that with this action we will contribute to have better police officers” said Milton Morrison.
On his side, the director of the National Police, Guzmán Peralta highlighted the importance of good public lighting, after assuring that it is synonymous with better security.
“We appreciate this gesture of helping us to illuminate this school for cadets and enlisted men; now it will have more security”.
Also present at the activity were the director of the school, General De Los Santos Guerrero; the director of security of Edesur, Colonel Edward Reyes; the director of Technical Commercial Management, Esteban Figuereo, and the lighting manager of Edesur, Félix Plasencia, among other police and Edesur authorities.
