The third duel for third place in CentroBasket U17 2021 was played, where the Dominican Republic was the winner after defeating Costa Rica by a wide score of 102 to 54.
The Dominicans were better in each of the chapters played. In the first quarter they won by a score of 19 to 15, in the second they extended their advantage by scoring 25 points, showing a better percentage of effectiveness in their shots, which led them to overcome their opponents by a comfortable advantage, putting a partial score of 45-31 after the first half.
